On a warm Saturday in August our good friends Amy and Ian got hitched overlooking the Bow River. I met Amy when she was pregnant with their kiddo, Rowan, though we shared a best friend for a long time before that. Since then, Amy and Ian have raised the funniest toddler, gotten engaged, bought a house and got married. It's been such a pleasure to get to celebrate so many landmarks alongside them and all of their family and friends. Some people are meant to be together and you know it when you look at the people that love them and know that they know it. These two are so calm, level, quietly alternative and strong together. With Amy's planning and diy, and friends and family pitching in (flowers were brought in from a family friend's garden in Kelowna) their wedding went off without a hitch - until the sparklers set the fire alarm off.
